Qualified Person Certification Program for 503A

CriticalPoint is excited to announce the launch of our Qualified Person Certification Program for 503A Personnel!

CriticalPoint has established a formal and standardized system for evaluating, educating and credentialing qualified persons for 503A entities.

For 503A Personnel, the QP503A™ and QP503A Master™ Certification Program creates a national credentialing program leveraging CriticalPoint’s existing Pharmacy Math and Sterile Compounding eLearning Curriculums, specific live training and practicum exercises (Sterile Compounding Boot Camp and Aseptic Technique Live Training), required Hand Hygiene and Aseptic Technique Competencies with accompanying personnel sampling and media fill testing; as well as pass a final exam. This program results in the acquisition of specific desired demonstrated knowledge and psychomotor skills. Persons who earn the QP503A™ credential have the option of pursuing the QP503A Master® credential by completing an additional project demonstrating their ability to facilitate measurable change in sterile compounding performance in their work setting.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

qqDetailed standard operating procedures are the foundation of a robust sterile compounding practice. When written properly, they should tell the reader exactly what to do as well as why, where, when and how to perform the activity.

We have partnered with ClinicalIQ to capture their expertise through the development of a set of template policies, procedures and accompanying documentation forms (together referred to as the SOPs).  They are effective in establishing robust operating procedures that ensure patient safety.

These detailed procedures and forms reflect not only guidance to foster achievement of compliance with USP Chapters <797> and <800> but with aseptic processing best practices as well. They are continually refined and updated to reflect regulatory changes (like Chapter <797> and Chapter <800> revisions). They are consistent with the CriticalPoint eLearning Training but provide more specific “how to” detail in regards to process as well as documentation. The SOPs can be harmonized to match the actual working conditions of your compounding facility and practice.

The entire Sterile Compounding Complete Set can be purchased HERE for $3995.
